Provisio is pleased to announce the release of version 2.4, which contains the following enhancements:
- Improved headings in year-by-year adjustment tables
- Update undeducted and deducted contribution limits
- Split "Income" input field into “Salary/Wages” and “Other Income”
- Update changes to the 90/10 rule and ability to make deductible contributions
- Change "Gross Income" to "Taxable Income" in the Tax Position Tables on screen and in Word Report
- Improved the optimisation engine to factor in new contribution caps.
- Include non-concessional contributions in interest calculations
- Minimum pension halved for 08/09 and 09/10 FY
- Configuration option to prevent running optimisation when opening .pvo file, which allows an input file to be set with all your preferred default input options, and you can open Provisio using this file.
- All reference to improved Co-Contribution eligibility has been removed in accordance with changes to Co-Contribution eligibility.
- New input field to pro-rata the salary sacrifice cap for any part-year scenarios
- Add a tick box to year-by-year adjustments to exclude non-concessional contributions from net income
- Updated tax offset calculations
- Update wording in the appendices of MS Word template to bring in line with legislation changes
- Additional template variables for custom templates
- Ability to customise table columns in custom templates
- Ability to insert graph into custom templates
- Improve presentation of MS Word export setting on preference screen
- Validation messages now display in popup window when running optimisation or opening year-by-year adjustments
